The Friends of Carter Caves group will be featuring henna artist, Lisa Brandenburg, at Winter Adventure Weekend. Designs will cost $5-$10 and all proceeds will benefit Friends of Carter Caves. Henna is a natural, organic temporary body art or tattoo. It is drawn on the skin with paste made from a plant. After the paste comes off, an orange colored design remains which darkens over 48 hours. The design lasts 7-14 days and most people can get henna. There are no chemicals or harsh dyes and the paste is hand made by the artist with only the best natural ingredients. Carry about a bit of temporary art with you. You will feel more beautiful, handsome, wicked or fun, depending upon your design chosen. Since henna is only temporary and not forever, you don't have to regret your decision. Henna is natural and is generally good for the skin. Very few people have reactions or problems with henna.
