8:30 pm HISTORIC TRIP BACK IN TIME (LEVEL 1) 2 hours; 35 people
Come join us on an adventure back in time as we descend into the catacombs of Cascade Cave. We will revisit the different cave lighting techniques used over the last 2,000 years. The different techniques used by cave explorers, miners, guides and today’s visitors will come to life before your very eyes. Stories will be told as well as demonstrations of earlier lighting techniques. This will give visitors today a look at how these different lighting techniques were used in the past and now in the present. Following the stories and demonstrations we will be giving participants the option to journey along a wild section of the cave on a guided tour or follow a guided group to exit the cave on the main trail. Either way the trip will take approximately 2 hours. Helmet & a Dependable Light Source are Required!
